Six bottles of our still white — and quite possibly the wine that will kick-start your love of English wine.
Bacchus is fast becoming the grape variety that defines English still wine, and we couldn't be prouder to be growing it here on the Berkshire Downs. An early-ripening variety perfectly suited to our site and the English climate, it consistently delivers the kind of wine that surprises people — lifted floral aromatics, ripe green apple, elderflower and fresh asparagus, with a mouthwatering finish that keeps you coming back for another glass.
Not unlike Sauvignon Blanc in character, our Bacchus is all about pretty aromatics and crunchy, refreshing acidity — the kind of wine that feels effortless to drink but has real depth behind it. The chalk soil it grows in gives it a mineral backbone that ties everything together beautifully.
Made from 100% hand-harvested fruit, gently pressed to preserve every last bit of those delicate aromatics. Fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel to retain the primary fruit character and freshness that makes this wine what it is. Each sip is a tribute to the land we call home.
