The Vineyard

After using weather stations around the farm for a year, we selected Bury Field as having the most potential and chose this as the location for our vines. Whilst the high altitude means that this isn't the warmest site, it offers natural protection against disease pressure meaning we spray less throughout the season. With careful grape selection we reliably ripen fruit every year regardless of the slightly cooler conditions.

Family Heritage

The Farm

For three generations, we’ve toiled and toasted to the land that fuels our passion for British farming. We’re not just working a farm, we’re crafting a legacy rooted in hard work, humour and a love for all things local.

How we began a vineyard

Our Story

The decision was made to diversify and plant vines six years ago to ensure a profitable future for our family business.

As such, after extensive site research, we planted 6.5 hectares with 30,000 Seyval Blanc, Pinot Noir and Bacchus vines.
