Named for the lane that runs through the heart of the farm, Bury Lane Sparkling Seyval Blanc is a wine that could only come from this corner of the Berkshire Downs. It opens with bright aromas of crisp green apple, juicy white pear and zesty citrus, lifted by delicate blossom and a subtle hint of almond that adds gentle depth to the clean, lingering finish. Fifteen months on the lees has given it a savoury complexity that sets it apart — the kind of wine that rewards a second glass.

We chose to plant Seyval Blanc for its ability to perform reliably in cooler English vintages and its resilience against spring frosts — the very frosts that keep us up at night monitoring temperature gauges across the vineyard. What we didn't expect was just how well it would take to sparkling production. Citrus, herbaceous notes and a mineral backbone that speaks directly to the chalk soil it grows in — this is English sparkling wine doing exactly what it should.

Made from 100% hand-harvested Seyval Blanc, whole-bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel. Malolactic conversion and lees stirring bring texture and roundness, while 15 months on the lees before disgorgement add that signature depth. Each sip is a tribute to the land we call home.
